To measure your waist, you’ll start by locating your natural waistline. Stand up straight, bend to one side, and find the crease that forms, usually at a level above your belly button and below your rib cage. Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your waist at that level, making sure it’s not twisted. It should be snug against your skin but not too tight.
Stand naturally, breathe normally, and read off the number where the tape meets itself. Voila—that’s your waist measurement.
